Day 1

Pick from Casablanca Airport

This personalized tour begins at Casablanca International Airport (Mohamed V). Your tour guide (driver) will meet you and transport you to your hotel to rest. After your rest, you will enjoy a visit to the coastal Hassan II mosque, which is the world’s third-largest mosque and depicts the world’s highest tower (210m high). It is one of the few mosques that non-Muslims are permitted to enter.

In the evening, you can have dinner at Rick’s Cafe, which has been modeled to look like the bar made popular by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in the classic film Casablanca. It is one of the city’s greatest dining options. Bed and breakfast are included in your hotel stay.

Day 2

Visit to the political capital of Morocco: Rabat

We will depart Casablanca after breakfast and head to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. You can visit the 12th century Kasbah of Oudaias, which is located in the city’s oldest section. From its cliff-top balconies, the kasbah offers amazing panoramas of the ocean. You will walk through the peaceful pathways and whitewashed buildings constructed by Spanish migrants. The Kasbah’s main door is exquisitely covered with a number of carved arches. There is a restaurant inside the Kasbah so it can be a good spot for some traditional Moroccan food.

We will also visit the oldest mosque in Rabat, Mosque el-Atiqa, it was established in the 12th century and renovated in the 18th. As well as, several art galleries, Andalusian gardens, and a national jewelry museum with a remarkable collection of Roman and Islamic jewels from various parts of Morocco. Next, you will explore the Hassan Tower, Rabat’s most famous landmark. It was built by Sultan Yacoub El-Mansour who died before it was finished.

Day 3

Drive to Fes via Meknes, and the 2,000 year old Roman Ruins of Volubilis

We will continue our journey toward the 2000-year-old and well-preserved Roman remains of Volubilis after a lunch break in a local restaurant. You will explore the vast complex, looking for the still-standing columns of ancient buildings, magnificent merchant mansions, temples, and beautiful mosaics, including the Labors of Hercules.

After a 30-minute trip, you will arrive in Meknes. Your local guide will take you on a tour of the attractions of Meknes, including the majestic Bab Mansour gate, the largest of all Moroccan imperial cities. The gate is in good condition, decorated with exquisite Zellij and engravings on the top. It was finished in 1732 by Sultan Moulay Ismail (the founder of Meknes).

You will also explore el-Hedim, the vast square next to Bab El-Mansour. It’s an idyllic spot to relax and watch the world pass by – children playing sports, snake charmers and traditional dancing. And later on, we drive to Fes.

Day 4

Explore Fes with a local guide

Today, our local guide will lead us on a walking tour of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital and oldest city. Our guide will make guarantee that we visit cultural and historical attractions such as the renowned Al Karaouine Mosque and University, one of Africa’s largest mosques and probably the world’s oldest university. This mosque can accommodate up to 20,000 people for prayer.

You could visit Medersa Bou Inania, the finest of Fes’ theological colleges, which was recently restored and the results are stunning.

Shortly after lunch in a local restaurant, we explore the Tanneries, among the city’s most popular attractions where leather is made we walk to the Royal Palace gate. You’ll take a walk through the Jewish neighborhood “the Mellah” and stop by the pottery cooperative. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore medieval Fes and mingle with the people. Bed and breakfast are included in your Riad.

Day 5

Driving to Imilchil via the middle atlas Ifrane, Azrou

After breakfast in Fes, we drive to the center of the High Atlas Mountains “Imilchil”, which stands at 2200 meters of altitude. We will pass through Ifrane, Khenifra, and Aghbala.we will arrive in Imilchil for the night.

Imilchil area is a charming region famous for its annual September marriage festival. According to the Imilchil Marriage Festival folklore, two young people from rival tribes fell in love. Their family would not let them marry. They grieved severely day and night. These tears formed two separate lakes, Isli (the groom) and Tislit (the bride). Spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 6

Travelling to Agdez via Dades valley & Todra gorge

After breakfast in the magnificent Atlas Mountains, we will drive toward Todgha Valley. When we reach Tinghir, we will then take the direction to Nkoub, until we eventually end up in the old town of Agdaz. We drive through the rocky hills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains to the 1660-meter-high summit of Tizi Ntinifift.

After we pass Agdz, we then head through the Draa Valley’s 1,100-kilometer journey. We continue driving south to kasbah ait Atmane , a peaceful town, where you will spend the night.

Day 7

Agdes to Erg Chigaga via Zagora & M’hamid Lghizlane

Today, you can spend the morning at your own pace or accompany us for a guided tour around the green oasis of Zagora.

We will have Lunch in M’hamid at a hotel, where you can also take a swim in the swimming pool before we continue on our explorers’ journey to the wild golden dunes of Erg Chigaga.

The drive from M’hamid to Erg Chigaga takes about 90 minutes and includes approximately 60 kilometers of thrilling off-road travel. On arrival, you will spend incredible night among the dunes, surrounded by the magnificent beauty of the desert.

Day 8

Erg Chigaga – Foum Zeguid – Taroudant – Agadir

After a delicious breakfast at the camp in Erg Chigaga, we head to Agadir, where you will spend two nights. Later on, we will drive this spectacular route via Iriqui’s National Park’s dry but gorgeous lake. We continue driving until we reach at the village of Foum-Zeguid, where the smooth paved road will begin.

We stop for a lunch in a local restaurant in Taznakht. Our journey will then continue to Taroudant and finally to Agadir. We expect to arrive in the late afternoon.

When you arrive in Agadir, check into your hotel. You can relax or enjoy a walk along the marina. Many restaurants are available to offer a tasty dinner.

Day 9

Agadir beach day

This day is dedicated to relaxation and discovery of Agadir. Agadir is famous for its beautiful beaches. It has some of Morocco’s best sea sides, with warm waters almost all year. You can relax on the nearby beach or let us arrange a drive to the town of Taghazout. There, you’ll enjoy stunning views and sandy beaches, where you will spend lovely day.

As an alternative, the hotel’s pool provides a great spot for relaxation, and an enjoyable walk down the shoreline at the Marina. We can enjoy dinner in restaurants around here.

Furthermore, Agadir provides additional activities adapted to your preferences, such as beach surf lessons or horseback riding. Whatever you pick, your day in Agadir will be a life-time experience.

Day 10

Agadir towards Marrakech

This morning, after breakfast, we will drive back to Marrakech.

You will be warmly welcomed to your Riad for check-in once we arrive in the early hours of the afternoon.

The rest of the day is up to you to explore the city of Marrakech, enjoy its attractive culture and fascinating views.

Day 11

Marrakech guided tour

After breakfast, your local guide will take you on a private tour of Marrakech’s most significant monuments, including the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque. Its 225-foot magnificent minaret and can be observed from almost every part of the city. You will also explore wonderful palaces, including the 19th century palace of El Bahia that exhibits Andalusian and Moorish architecture. It includes a trapezoidal garden, a large tiled courtyard, and several antique gems placed inside.

You will also explore the famous Saadian Tombs, which were built in the 16th century by the Saadian Sultan, Ahmed el Mansour. It features magnificent ceilings, wood carvings, exotic marble statues, and brilliant mosaic.

Next, we will visit the Koranic School. Medersa Ben Youssef, biggest Medersa in North Africa. This theological institution originally housed around 900 students for religious studies. It was constructed in the 16th century. It has gorgeous structures due to its Moroccan design, Moorish archways, rectangular courtyard, and exceptional mosaics.

In the afternoon, we will walk the Djemaa El-Fna, Marrakech’s main square ansd enjoy Snake charmers playing with hissing cobras, henna tattoo artists decorating hands of bassers-by, musicians play, and dances. And finally head back to Riad for dinner

Day 12

Free day in Marrakech

This is your free day to explore Marrakech on your own.

You could try a Hammam Spa and Massage or a cooking class with a Moroccan chef.

Your driver will be available by your side anytime you may need help.

Day 13

Last day in Morocco

Today your Grand Morocco Adventure Tour comes to an end.

When you are ready for your plane, your driver will transfer you to the airport.
