Day 1

Pick up from Casablanca Airport

This guided tour begins with a pick up from the Casablanca airport. One of our expert drivers and guides will welcome you in the airport and drive you to your accommodation. After your rest, a visit to the Hassan II mosque will be the best idea to start your tour. The driver will drive you around to visit this magnificent landmark which is the world’s third-largest mosque and features the world’s highest minaret (210m). you can also explore as the mosques allow non-Muslims to enter.

In the evening, you can have dinner at Rick’s Cafe, which has been modeled to look like the bar made popular by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in the classic film Casablanca. It is one of the city’s greatest dining options. Bed and breakfast are included in your hotel stay.

Day 2

Travelling to Chefchaouen and Riff Mountains via Rabat

We will leave Casablanca and drive towards Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. You will see the Royal Palace and the Hassan Tower, Rabat’s most recognized landmark. This magnificent tower was built by Sultan Yacoub El-Mansour who died before it was completed. He planned to erect a 60-meter-tall minaret, but it stopped at 44 meters. .We will also visit Mohamed V’s marble Mausoleum, which was crafted in classic Moroccan style.

Following a lunch stop in a local restaurant, we will carry on driving across the Riff Mountains, where we will enjoy the exquisite views until we arrive in Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of the North. Finally spend the night in a Riad. Bed and breakfast included.

Day 3

Whole day dedicated to exploring Morocco’s blue pearl: Chefchaouen

We’ll begin exploring Chefchaouen after breakfast. This charming city is unlike any other in Morocco. The city was originally colonized by Spain, which heavily inspired its Spanish and Moorish architecture; its white painted walls, blue doors and windows is what makes it captivating.

Chefchaouen offers a peaceful and photogenic makes sure your camera is ready. Bed and breakfast are included in your Riad stay.

There is also a beautiful waterfall ( Akshour) about 30km from the city that we could add to the plan and have a short hike over there.

Day 4

Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

We’ll leave after breakfast for the medieval Roman remains of Volubilis. You’ll start the morning admiring the 2000-year-old ruins decorated in mosaics from the 3rd century BC. We head back to Meknes for lunch.

After lunch, your guide will take you on a tour to visit Meknes’s best attractions such as the majestic Bab Mansour gate, the most magnificent gates in all Moroccan imperial cities, decorated with Moroccan Zellij and inscriptions on the top surface. You will also tour the historic center of Meknes Medina, el-Hedim square, a vast square right in front of Bab El-Mansour gate. It’s an adorable spot to sit and watch musical dances, snake charmers.

After a long day exploring Meknes, We drive to Fes. Bed and breakfast are included in your Riad.

Day 5

Walking tour with local fuide around Fes

We start the day with a walking tour of Fes with our local guide, Morocco’s spiritual capital and oldest city. We will admire its narrow alleys and traditional markets, cultural and historical sites such as the famous Al Karaouine University (the world’s oldest university) as well as the spiritual mosque that can host up to 20,000 people in prayer.

Another 14th century Fes monument is Medersa Bou Inania. The greatest of Fes’s religious institutions. It was repaired a few years ago, and the results are stunning and worth contemplating.

Shortly after lunch in a local restaurant, we explore the Tanneries, among the city’s most popular attractions where leather is made we walk to the Royal Palace gate. You’ll take a walk through the Jewish neighborhood “the Mellah” and stop by the pottery cooperative. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore medieval Fes and mingle with the people. Bed and breakfast are included in your Riad.

Day 6

Ifrane – Azrou – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we will pack up and drive south to the magnificent Sahara desert. We will enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and its charming Berber communities. Our stop will be in Ifrane town, an elegant and modern small city, with red-roofed houses, and beautiful hoods. Ifrane was built by French colonization in the 1930s.

We will go deep into the Atlas Mountains to Azrou, a Berber town with breathtaking landscapes of cedar and pine trees. You will get to watch and feed Barbary Macaque Monkeys in Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest forest. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Midelt (Apple City).

We continue on to the Ziz Valley, one of several oases featuring Morocco’s desert-like views, we stop for breathtaking views along the way. When you arrive in Merzouga, you will be greeted with a drink of mint tea before checking into your Riad. It is situated on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, Morocco’s highest dunes, where your camels and luxury desert tent await you. Dinner, bed, and breakfast are all included.

Day 7

Merzouga tour on the dunes, camel trekking and Sahara Desert camping

Your driver guide will take you over the dunes, stop for breathtaking views and pass by old, muddy Berber villages. You will visit to a nomadic family living in a tent in desert and share a glass of mint tea with them while your guide tells you about their nomadic lifestyle. You will meet the Gnawa people. We will witness their spiritual music and way of life. We will also visit Merzouga Lake, one of Morocco’s best places to see many desert birds, including Flamingos, Egyptian Nightjars, and Desert Warblers.

Lunch break at a Berber pizza restaurant, then you will return to your hotel for a little relaxing time and maybe a swim before you go ride camels into the charming Erg Chebbi dunes. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset. As the afternoon sun sets, the color of the dunes changes amazingly. Spend the night in a live Berber drum show. Bed and breakfast are all included in your overnight stay in the camp.

Day 8

Driving to Dades Valley via Rissani and Todra Gorge

Get up early and climb the dunes to witness the rising sun over the Sahara desert. After breakfast at the campsite, we will and head toward Dades Valley.

Our first stop will be Rissani, the ancestral home of Morocco’s current ruling royal family. You’ll visit a traditional souk in the city center, which is divided into many sections: dates, vegetables, spices, animals, cloth, and craft. Next, we will continue our drive through green palmeries and Berber villages to the todra Gorge. We’ll get to explore the gorge and cool off in the refreshing waters of the Todra River.

After lunch, we’ll drive to the Dades Valley where we’ll see incredible sand castles and the incredible stone formations referred to as “monkey toes.” Your hotel will provide overnight accommodations with a view of the beautiful, lush Dades valley. Dinner, bed, and breakfast are all included.

Day 9

Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas – Marrakech

We will leave the Dades Valley after breakfast and drive to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. We’ll drive the Thousand Kasbahs route, where you will shoot some of the best images of the tour. You can stop in Kalaat Mgouna, “the Rose City,” and buy rose items like rosewater, rose perfume, lotion, or various other homemade goods that will make the clothes smell lovely.

We continue our journey of discovery by driving through isolated Berber villages to Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa” because of its magnificent surroundings, which drew many world-class film makers. You can visit the Atlas Film Studio, which is the world’s largest film studio. It featured international films such as Gladiator, Mummy, and Game of Thrones.

Then we’ll drive 15 miles to the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. this site was built in the early 18th century by a Berber chieftain named T-hami El Glaoui.

When your guided tour of the Kasbah is over, we will have lunch and then continue to Marrakech across the 7,415ft high Tizi-n-tichka Pass in the Atlas Mountains. We will arrive at your Marrakech accommodation at 4-5 p.m. You can finish your day in jamaa El-fna square and enjoy the evening activities. Bed and breakfast are included in your stay.

Day 10

Marrakech tour with a local guide

After breakfast, your local guide will take you on a private tour of Marrakech’s most significant monuments, including the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque. Its 225-foot magnificent minaret and can be observed from almost every part of the city. You will also explore wonderful palaces, including the 19th century palace of El Bahia that exhibits Andalusian and Moorish architecture. It includes a trapezoidal garden, a large tiled courtyard, and several antique gems placed inside.

You will also explore the famous Saadian Tombs, which were built in the 16th century by the Saadian Sultan, Ahmed el Mansour. It features magnificent ceilings, wood carvings, exotic marble statues, and brilliant mosaic.

Next, we will visit the Koranic School. Medersa Ben Youssef, biggest Medersa in North Africa. This theological institution originally housed around 900 students for religious studies. It was constructed in the 16th century. It has gorgeous structures due to its Moroccan design, Moorish archways, rectangular courtyard, and exceptional mosaics.

In the afternoon, we will walk the Djemaa El-Fna, Marrakech’s main square and enjoy Snake charmers playing with hissing cobras, henna tattoo artists decorating hands of passers-by, musicians play, and dances. And finally head back to Riad for dinner.

Your driver drops you off in the airport of your choice any time you are ready. And our 11 days tour filled with endless memories of Morocco ends here.
